    Hi everyone!

I am quite new to edrums and DIY,

    Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience with these?

I'm very tempted for a crash or China, what are your thoughts? The price is definitely right, have heard good things about their hi hat controller.

Hello World! - new edrummer on the block

Hey fam. I've just started my hybrid kit conversion project, and I'm looking to learn from some DIY experts. Recently got myself the Alesis Strike Multipad (love it), and I'm now attempting to add some external triggers to it.

Catch me over in the DIY area!

  • Alesis Strike module with ATV Cymbals and Roland RT triggers

As you read from the title I have ATV Cymbals and Roland RT triggers. I'm going to buy Alesis Strike module, but will I have any issues with cymbals and triggers, especially with a hihat? Are they compatible?

  • Where to find materials for A2E in Australia (Yes I've checked the sticky)

Hey guys, I checked the Stickied post on materials outside the US but I only saw options for people from the UK. The thing I'm having trouble with is finding foam cones, any ideas? Or could I make them? Thanks

    Custom DIY TD12 VDrum set

    Hello,
after a 6 years break I started again to play drums, this time with a VDrum since I can't make too much noise at home.

Drone Triggers (formally known as Kit Toys)

Please check out Drone Triggers, the group who previously made Kit Toys Cymbals... They can be followed on Facebook and occasionally have triggers for sale on eBay. They have some very nice equipment for DIY kits, basically bolt on and plug-and-play!

Which piezo to use for a DIY cymbal?

    Hello,

I've built me a basic cymbal from a beech multiplex board with a sponge rubber layer as the playing surface. In order to avoid a hot spot I mounted a second board with a spacer under the main board using four screws. That second board (the piezo board) is where I've put a 32 mm piezo....

  • TD12 A2E using Tom rims as pecussion cuts out when hitting kick?

Hi all. I really do hope somebody can help here.
I have recently Built A2E from Mapex V series. I want to use the high tom rims as cowbell/ tambourine or splash BUT when I assign this and play a rhythm using the rims it cuts out the rim sound completely.
I may be a little daft here but...

Diy mesh heads progress and suggestions

Hey everyone, I'm in the process of making my own mesh heads. I've just finished my first drum, and want some input about what you all think. I used pet d fence screens, and after my first drum, it looks and feels pretty awesome. My main concern is the extra girth taking away from the overall structural...

  • Some words of caution for the mix and match types.

The bottom line for people who don't like to read is Yamaha modules are not all that compatible with what I have come to know as "standard" e-drums.

I have had so many modules and triggers over the past 5 years in the quest for the set that suits me the best. I like to try all...
