Homemade v cymbal, links for rubber?

Hi folks. I currently am triggering an 18inch Zildjian L80 with good effect. I'm using a clear plastic cymgard that I got with the trigger.

2 things can anyone give online Links to where I could buy some more clear cymgard like this online. Also a link to the clear sticky sheets of plastic...

    Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience with these?

I'm very tempted for a crash or China, what are your thoughts? The price is definitely right, have heard good things about their hi hat controller.

  • Cymbal triggering- Magnatrack, Stealth, Jobeky, L80/low-volume & misc 2-play mesh

Hey guys! I'm recently getting back into v-drumming.... I hadn't touched my kit in years but got back into it over the last week. And I've had a lot of fun, again!

    Questions--

What do you guys think of Magnatrack IZT triggers (the screw-on type for the L80 cymbals) or the magnetic...

  • Alesis Strike module with ATV Cymbals and Roland RT triggers

As you read from the title I have ATV Cymbals and Roland RT triggers. I'm going to buy Alesis Strike module, but will I have any issues with cymbals and triggers, especially with a hihat? Are they compatible?

GarageBand isnít recording my Ride properly

I recently hooked up my Alesis DM10 to GarageBand using a MIDI to USB cable to record my playing and have got it all working apart from the ride. It picks it up when I tap the ride gently but when I hit it hard it just records the same sound as it does when I hit it soft. Anyone know what this could...

Names of Cymbal Arm and clamp for the TD11KV

Having returned to the fold with a TD11KV kit, I'd like to fill it's remaining slot with another crash cymbal (presumably the CY12 with felt etc.). What clamp and cymbal arm do I need ?
Does the small kit with the felt, top bit, and shaped metal cymbal holder come with the CY12 ?

  • Help! Kick interferes with Cymbal triggering on TD-12

Hi all, new here. I'm reposting this from the technical section as I couldn't figure out how to move it.

I have a TD-12 which I'm triggering with a Hart Dynamics Pro 6.4 kit. I am experiencing an issue where the Hart e-cymbals fail to trigger if the kick signal triggers at the same time...

    Seeking help with TD-12

Hi all, new here. I have a TD-12 which I'm triggering with a new-old-stock Hart Dynamics Pro 6.4 kit. I purchased the triggers new about 10 years ago, played them maybe ten times, and then put them into storage. I recently set it all back up and am experiencing an issue where the cymbals fail to trigger...

Which piezo to use for a DIY cymbal?

    Hello,

I've built me a basic cymbal from a beech multiplex board with a sponge rubber layer as the playing surface. In order to avoid a hot spot I mounted a second board with a spacer under the main board using four screws. That second board (the piezo board) is where I've put a 32 mm piezo....

    Cymbal Choking in Superior

This is kind of a weird issue that no one seems to be able to give one definitive solution for. I'm using a Roland TD20 to trigger Superior on a Macbook Pro. Here are the general specs:

    Mainstage 3.2.4
    OSX Yosemite (latest update)
    M-Audio Fast-track 8R, for 8-channel output...

  • Any way to change the voice of a drum pad in Roland TD-1KV

    Hi
As you may know this drum has 15 drum kits some of which have nice Tom drum sound but I'm not happy with their snare and cymbal voices. I'd like to change them to a different sound. Is there any chance to do that with this intro model of Roland?
    Any help is appreciated.
    P.S. I know...
