I`ve uploaded the FD2VSTi Remapper for use with VSTi`s and samplers ,this can be used with any Roland module including the SPD20 or any ekit that uses any control change number for the hihat.
Again this is a beta version.

Chris J: I`m still baffled by the problem we discussed privately where your Q10 is showing lots of available midiports.
If you have the time to do a couple of checks it would help a great deal ,If you could let me know what the actual list box text says for the available midi ins and outs within...

A few things you should consider ,Midi by its very serial nature will introduce a latency ,play two notes at exactly the same time and they are sent one after the other ,not together.

The cross stick threshold is the point at which the sound changes from a rim click to a rim shot.
Basically its called velocity layering.
With it set to 0 you will never get the click sound ,only the rim shot.
Rim shots are generaly accents anyway so a value around 100 works for me....

Personally I leave the drums as midi until the final mixdown as this allows you to edit the module right up until all the other tracks and the mix is complete.
I you want the drum track recorded as separate waves because you want to apply VST effects or eq to the waves then this is no problem....

I think you would be better changing kit 1 back to the default midi notes and getting used to this rather than changing all the midi notes for all the other kits.
Have you tried using the drum editor in cubase?
This...

If the Master EQ is on I think this only applies to the Master Outputs.
I`ll check later on my module.

Hi dw4
I`ll presume that your not talking about the effects returns that are splilling.
Heres an old thread that may shed some light.

The click function is mainly used for the onboard sequencer ,but as always theres always a way.
Record a pattern on the module with just quarter notes or whatever type of click you want then set the global sync mode to "External".
Now when you hit play on your MPC you will get...
