Hmm.. "modeling" as in... say I assigned a china to a pad connected to the td10, v-edited and everything... then I can also assign this edited sound to an spd20 pad via the protocol you just mentioned?

More specifically, I would like to assign a TD10 china patch to the SPD20. Now, the china patches on the td10 are assigned to #s greater than 127 (which is the SPD20 midi # limit) ...

What I need to do is figure out how to copy that china patch on the td10 from wherever it is above...

I think the only filter I saw that was enabled was Sysex?

I'm using Battery w/Cubase. When I play the midi performance back, Im not getting the accents that I got when I monitored the TD10 - I think this may have something to do with positional sensing. I do have velocity layers in Battery.... hmmmm

So to understand what exactly is being recorded,...

Well, I didn't see double notes when I went in and dragged a few around...

Also, I turned my vdrum module completely off to see if I was also triggering that... I still got that thin/flangy sound on playback.

I'll look into that logical preset that deletes double notes......

I am hoping someone could help...

Equipment I'm using:

1 - Roland Vdrums TD10 (midi)
2 - Cubase SX
3 - Battery Drum Sampler

When I play back my midi (Drum) performance through battery, it sounds very flangy and very bad... hehe. Anyone else...

Actually, no, while playing live....

It's a PIII 1GHz... not sure where to check for the latency, however. No Midi fiters (whatever that is) Filters? None of that either...

Whenever I do a roll on a vdrum pad, I hear a noticeable delay. Furthermore, I would do a 12 stroke roll and approximately only 8 hits are played through my monitors.
