I recently bought a DW maple kit with exactly the same size toms, my kick is 18x22 however. I would call the kit you have a jazz or fusion sized kit, but I use mine for more rock style and it works well. The toms have a nice spacing in those sizes, but they (at least mine) like to be tuned...

When you are on the posting screen, look at the tool bar at the top and find the IMG button. Click it. Put the address in the box and voila!

A DI or direct box looks like this.
On the other end of the box there is a 3 pin XLR jack that you would run to a mixer or to the snake. Sorry for the image size, but I wanted him to be able to see detail.

Just be careful when you pull the upper housing away from the floor plate. There is a printed circuit ribbon connector that connects the two pieces. Tear it and you're done.Leave a comment:

Thanks for the replys. I was unable to convince the lazy kid at Atlanta Pro Percussion to let me try out the DW cable drive system....seems it was too much for him to walk next door and get one out....so I went down to the Guitar Center and bought the DW 5500TD conventional high hat stand.
