I went for the XS20's, mainly because I got a great deal, but I'm glad I did, they sound great to my ears, heck, in one venue I performed at (admittedly a local venue for young bands, where ZBT's and their ilk are the norm), I got told to play softer because they were "too good"! I do recommend...

This will sound stupid... But did you plug in both cables? There's two jacks on the RHH135, one for the pad, one for the control.

Would it not be possible to build some sort of cable that allows the ride to have 3 zones with Yamaha modules? Using that circuit thing I made a while back to combine the two inputs used for Roland into the one required by Yamaha (as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s66OPK3-_u8 )and then a...

Forefather -Brunanburh Drum Cover
Some nice metal for all you people...
I covered the song "Brunanburh" by the band Forefather. I recorded all the guitar and bass tracks for this piece as well, but only did video for the drums. Enjoy!...A drum cover I did of Saxon black metal band Forefather's "Brunanburh". All guitars were recorded by me for this track as well, which I think came out rather...

Hope it's a good event anyhow!
As an aside, I don't suppose anyone knows of anything interesting (drum related...

I like that cover a lot, Bela Lugosi's dead is the first Bauhaus song I ever heard! And good luck with the new kit, you'll be blasting away in no time!...

That's pretty much what I did, removed the sanding layers. Whether that makes a difference or not, I don't know, but for me, they did disintegrate after a short time, so bear that in mind....

Mine comes from a song from one of my all time favourite bands, Akercocke. It's not even my favourite song by them, it just sounds cool to me!...8th track of the 'Words that go unspoken, deeds that go undone' album (2005) Enjoy.

Sanding blocks may work... I didn't have the best experience though, they worked fine for a couple weeks, and then literally disintegrated. It may be because I cut it in half, so the harder outer layer was only on one side, but still something to consider.

From an FAQ on the band's official forum... "I have an exceptionally high Mitichlorian level, so I dont appear to sweat when we perform, but its really just my Sith powers."
