I'm actually quite interested in the Strike Multipad. Although my plan would be to make it the center of a compact kit. Does anybody know what brands cymbals would work wiith this without any hassle? I'm thinking I'd add a hi-hat, kick, snare and a ride cymbal.

Ah ok :/ Was hoping for a bit more budget-oriented module option from ATV, the aD5 has quite the hefty pricetag....

Looks nice! Is there any more information about the difference between these and the aD5 module? Pricing?

I think your only options is to either get another module with more inputs. Or get a second module along with a decent, small mixer, like the Yamaha AG03 or something like that. But that means you'll have 2 modules and a mixer mounted to your rack or somewhere closeby, it adds up to quite alot of s...

Not to be "THAT guy", but the fact that Roland makes the almost top tier modules with only one extra trigger input is a giant d*ck move imo.
So yeah, either buy one of their overpriced units that lets you add more trigger, or buy the TD-30 module. If not, buy a module from a different...

Could very well be. I was really hoping for something more exciting though. Although DW doesn't strike me as the type of company to be one of the first acoustic drum companies to enter the e-drum market with a kit of their own in that way....

Interesting! This could certainly shake things up a bit. Or at least I hope it will.
News from NAMM should start rolling out any second now, would be amazing if DW had something ready to show off there!

Yeah, it does seem to be a big problem on some units, and some have no problems at all. But it's still a possibility that it's there.
I don't know if the SamplePad 4 has the same issues, but it's as the name suggests - only 4 pads....

Ooh, another swede, eh? Welcome!
But yeah, as electrodrummer stated I'd go for the Multi12! Might be worth checking out the Alesis Samplepad 4 or Samplepad Pro aswell, they're a bit cheaper. And while their lower pricing reflects on the quality it's not THAT bad and they can be found for under...

Allright, good to know, thanks!I've been scouting the used market around here the last couple of weeks, quite a bit of TD-9 and TD-11 kits pop up, some for really good prices.
I'm leaning towards getting a TD-11 with the MDS4V rack and then change the pads one by one for Alesis Strike ones...

I found this UK-based company called "Jobeky", I think I've seen that name before but I'm not sure. Do you have any experience with them or do you know what the general thoughts from drummers about their products are? Was thinking that the shipping might end up being alot less since they're...

Wow those look fantastic! Too bad the shipping for a 4-piece set ends up at almost 300 dollars :/ But I must say, I am very tempted to get at least one of those snare drums!...

Yeah exactly, I'm thinking about maybe getting a TD-9 or TD-11 input, mount it on a MDS4V rack and then get some 2box or Alesis pads since, compared to Roland pads, they won't cost me an arm and my firstborn child.
Although the modules I mentioned feels kinda risky aswell since they use...

Yeah I have been looking at the Pearl Midtown aswell as PDP New Yorker and Breakbeats. Although I'm not sure if I'm quite up to the task of doing another A2E conversion tbh. Getting a compact v-drum rack, a good mid-level module and then some Alesis Strike pads if that knob-thingy works with other modules...
