I found strange sounds after the last official firmware update. There was a weird artefact which increased as you increased the FX. I contacted NFUZD a few times, bu5 they denied there was an issue. Eventually, that was all I could hear, so I stopped using the kit.

I was expecting as big a difference as I found with the digital snare and ride - and was disappointed. Sure, it's a good hat, but so is the EfNote (alas not compatible with anything else for now!)....

Please be aware that the Simmons module in the video has absolutely nothing in common with the Simmons amp. That was built in the UK decades ago - the amp is from China....

It's been so long since I did this that I no longer recall. You'll need to open the cabinet, locate the power supply and check the output. Then just google the 220v equivalent.

I tried that initially, but couldn't get rid of the hum from the step-down transformer. In the end, I had no choice but to replace the power supply internally....

Of course, none of this is Lemon’s fault – you can’t really blame an after-market supplier for the design decisions of the module makers. But the confusion does highlight the need for some decent documentation – suggesting settings for some of the popular modules....
