No, it is okay to ask questions in the wrong way -- this is normal. That is why I asked: "What is the concern that you have that you think would be answered by those specs?"

As an example, I'll try to answer one of your questions to show why this is the wrong question. Hopefully...

You can use the "COPY" function to copy a single kit from any full module backup to any single user kit slot,

It's not a personal computer, so they didn't use a PC architecture. So none of the that information is applicable. Why do you ask? What is the concern that you have that you think would be answered by those specs?...

  • I replied to you right away,. Unfortunately, you used a temporary email address and the reply go rejected. I tried several times and got the same response. I then sent you an email using the email address that you used when you purchased your license many years ago. I have not gotten a reply from you,...

Yeah, not an obvious pack to look at. Luckily this is one of the kits that I have in my current TD-30 config and I used the exact same kit name that was used in the original pack. I didn't remember what pack it came from, so searched all of the expansion packs that I have for a kit with the same name....

This is because the Megadrum assumes that you will use an external voltage divider to fit the signal within the range of the A/D reference.

There are two ways to do this on the megadrum.
    1) Take advantage of the fact that the megadrum does have one half of a voltage divider on each...

Is this the sample you are talking about: http://www.vexpressionsltd.com/samples/new_bonham.mp3

If so, my educated guess is that this is kit #45 from the VEX Professor's Pack which is one of the Bonus Kits modeled to sound like John Bonham.
Here is a link to the Professors Pack: ...

If you just have a single 1M resistor in series with the piezo, you probably won't blow up the chip since the I/O cell probably does have a small diode that will clamp the signal to 3.3V. All of the signal above 3.3V will be dropped across that resistor, but the current will be so low since the resistor...

  • These are symptoms of a bad power supply. What do you mean by "the numbers match?" Are you talking about the part number, or are you talking about the voltage and current?
