I understand. Thanks for your input. Just trying to get a guesstimate. If I do sell I want to sell for a fare price....

I really like it (PMP) I just don't use it. I play my TD-30KV kit (with slightly tweaked VEX sounds :-). all the time I guess because I'm just use to it. And yeah, I'm starting to get a little impatient wondering when sound libraries and editior might come out. I always take my Mimic with me in case...

"Thinking" of selling my Mimic
So. I'm "thinking" of selling my Pearl Mimic Pro with hardshell padded case, touch screen saver and Vex Origins kits. I've only used it twice. I bought from Sweetwater a year and a half ago. What do y'all think it would sell for?...

I agree. I play a TD-30 for the most part at most all gigs. I have a Mimic Pro but have only used it twice live. Both of these Modules are Superb. I also have a TD-11 Kit W/ different rack/pads) I play at Outside weddings because half the time the Band is an after-thought and there's no Tent or nearby...

My TD-30 moves a little bit when puching in new kits for songs. Bit it doesn't feel like it gonna break. I say buy the mount the TIVI posted. I might do the same thing....

As far as playability. VH-11 is a lighter feel than the VH-13. I have both and I the VH-11 because it's just 1 pads gives better (Not has heavy moving 2 cy pads with 1 stick). To me they both trigger great. As far as price goes, Chris K has a point. Go check out the VH-10. It's priced right....

When It comes out I will more than happy to give it a try. It looks promising to me. I'm not a big tweaker of sounds unless I really want to. I would rather buy tweaked sounds amd then gently tweak what I bought. At least with what I buy (Vex and Drum-tec sounds) It gets me in the ballpark so I can...

I gig (ONLY) with Roland TD-30KV kit about 130 gigs per year. I run my TD-30 mix like this.
All TD-30 kits
Inside the TD-30 Module I Pan
Bass drum panned Right. All other instuments (Snare,Toms, Cymbals, etc) Panned Left. I'm running the 1/4 Master stereo outs...Last edited by ReeseRocket; 02-06-19, 10:06 AM.

I was going to do the same thing. I have a Roland TD-4KP kit and a Roland TD-11 kit. If found it almost impossible to mount the TD-11 module on the KP kit. Changing the Snare to a TD-85 was easy. Changing toms and cymbals impossible without tearing somrthing up. SO? I gave up. I modified the TD-11 drum...

Well? I had or on them all. I had the TD-25KV kit twice, loved it. I've had the TD-50 twice and sent it back twice. (Poor snare sounds and not able to fully edit one shots samples. Not able to turn Off snare buzz etc on the 50) I now havwe the TD-30 and the Pearl Mimic Pro. I really don't use the PMP...Last edited by ReeseRocket; 01-21-19, 12:28 PM.
