    SD2 is quite a steep learning curve but it is powerful. I have a TD30 running SD2. I firstly used the Roland setting then cleaned off the toms and started again by using the learn function. Also worth recording the midi so you can see what notes are being generated. For the mute I have the envelope...

    Looks good. I'd would go 2nd hand as you will get a lot more for your money. I haven't bought one new yet and saved thousands. Look on Gumtree and preloved as well although preloved is a bit dead now. Nearly forgot try shpock as well. If there is nothing immediate hand on as there will be. Just ignore...

    Hard to say as you 2nd hand price differs wildly. I see people trying to sell TD20 kits for nearly 3000 and as low as 1500 *Which is what I got mine for) if you keep looking you will get a bargain but you have to be patient and look at all 2nnd hand sites not just ebay. I got my TD20 from preloved...

    It sounds like a cable has gone or a wire has dropped off within the hi-hat which they can do at times. Might be worth backing up the module and doing a reset though just in case something else has gone wrong in the software or you made a change accidentaly
