  • UMC1820 it is...

No idea regarding the ASIO drivers and latency on Behringer. I have only an old UMC404 which is performing ok over ASIO. They are probably using the same type of cpus in all their products and similar ASIO drivers.

  • The FCA1616 seems to be cool. FireWire and usb. 8 channels out. Looks hard to source in Europe for some reason. Eol?

There is a usb only based version UMC1820 available of this card with the same specs. Half the cost compared to the XR18 which is a complete mixer. XR18 is not a bad choice...

  • I have been using an external 8 channel soundcard over usb with both my Mac and pc...and been running the standalone player found in AD2 and it works great to send the drums on separate audio channels to the PA mixer.

  • From what I recall when using logic X and AD2...triggered from a TD-6...I just adjusted the curve in the mapping window in AD2 and was able to limit the signal.

These settings are only valid for Roland users...(not 2box) :-)

    1. Mask time has not any importance in your case.
    2. If you have problems with the Bell...I would assume that you are getting the piezo signal from the bow. Try to change this. (Is it one or two connectors out from the...

  • I saw a video post when playing one of the songs (sad but true) from the black album where the drummer seems to be using the “*I am Fairfax”* preset from the Fairfax 1 ADPak. Probably tweaked and using more compression on the room microphones.

I am guessing by only using the bell piezo + switch( relax about the bow piezo ) and the cypsv settings you will easily emulate a 2box three zone ride.

A bell hit will the generate most volume...and the module will generate a bell sound.

    A bow hit...will generate a lighter...

  • Most of the drums used on the black album can be found in the Fairfax 1 ADPak. (Gretsch kick, Toms and the Tama Bell Brass Snare + Zildjian cymbals)

    i know i have seen a preset for AD2...but I can’t recall where I saw it...:-(

    Hi!

Post your current ride settings on your 2box and we will have a look!

This ride from Jobeky uses two piezo’s(bow/bell) and a switch(edge)...so...I just had a look in the Three manual...and just found out that there seems to be no settings that fits 100%...There is actually...

  • Hi!

There is a cpu in the pad which is collecting the signals and sends it out over the slightly modified usb bus. (It is only accepting usb endpoint connections - that’s why you only can connect one pad to a PC over usb - not several)

On TD-50, there is three separate usb...
