  • Looked at the Specs on the Pearl Thumper vs. Buttkicker Concert. Thumper's designed for a 200 watt amp. Concert needs a minimum 400 watt and rated up to 1400 watts... Also, the bracket / concert attached directly to the bottom of the throne seat would have to be much more efficient than the post...

  • I've not tried the thumper, but I think it's the same as Buttkicker's lessor unit. Look at the specs on the Concert version and compare to the lessor version. Purely size-wise, it's a much larger transducer. It can rattle the fillings out of your teeth! I see many touring drummers use the concert...
