better.. but hard to describe this.. but it's not as big a step as between single ply and double ply.. slightly less spongy,
slightly more noisy, than roland.. but still with all those fine woven mesh you get more energy pushed back into your stick
than with mylar .. if you play acoustic...

bought a XM kit once, and it's true.. the mesh rebound is close to acoustic.. but they are loud..
so, i switched them out for real feels (which aren't real feels ; ) but it's just for electronic.. good enough..
and like djska i've tried everything to get 'real' rebound on pads.. the...

superior bleed, bfd-3 resonance, ..that's exactly what i mean.. (it's not possible for me to play real time with all that enabled, though..)
and i know it's a matter of taste.. whether you like a 'studio /radio' drum sound, or a drum sound from 'behind' an acoustic drum kit.....

yes, but i'm not talking about 'amping' an acoustic kit.. then you need to get a clean sound.. i'm talking about the difference in playing (sound)
between acoustic and electronic.. ..and if you play acoustic.. you know exactly what that difference is .....

it's more subtle than 'interact' .. but on an electronic kit there is zero interaction between kit parts.. (not even 'echo' in another drum)
unless you mean 'room mics' ..but i am talking about 'drummers' seat' sound, behind a (tuned) acoustic kit .. ( ..never mind)

when sitting behind an acoustic kit, when hitting tom 1, tom 2 and 3 will also resonate.. or toms with kick.. or floortom with rest of kit..
in sampling this is seen as 'pollution' between samples.. and most kit parts are sampled individually ..
but with a real drumkit this blending makes...

there's something about sampling.. that will never capture the resonance and blending of sounds as sitting behind an acoustic kit..
because everybody wants to capture 'tom 1' 'tom 2' 'tom 3' 'snare' etc.. and even with vst quality they can sound top notch,
but they will never blend and...

very musical sounding drum kit.. (and they have 2 more coming up..) if the 32 gB is officially supported (software), ..2box is still
a lot of value for money.. in my opinion .....

  • that answers the question why you don't find any content like that.. on the internet..
but ..sometrimes it's being done anyway.. single shots, layers, multi-samples.. re-used from 'paid for' content..
would it be smart to talk about this (when your identity is known) ? i would say.. 'no'...

  • find an italian drum forum.. ..make a joint order with some members, and split the shipping costs ..

but i agree.. minimum order is strange if you yourself pay full shipping costs .. and then why not 'all of western europe' the same amount of minimum order..

a lot of nice dynamic snare playing and seemless alteration between ghost notes and rimshots on the main snare (pearl tru trac) but not on the roland pad or yamaha pad.. (yes, i hear the rims on those pads, ..but i mean dynamic behaviour -transitioning- from soft head to loud rimshots)
    if he would...

another thread made me question something : i can see a roland pad and a yamaha pad in the clip.. ..but i dont' see him playing the rim of those..
tru trac heads are piezo/switch rim.. roland pads are dual piezo.. so, can mimic pro switch between piezo/switch and piezo/piezo for normal trigger...
