Check your Kit Instrument Assign on the Ride. That shows all the zones. Bow, Bell, Edge and Mute. Also when on the Ride Trigger Page push settings and make sure the Button that says Split to 2 1 wire Rides in NOT highlighted. Both Ride 1 and 2 cables must be TRS and make sure to push the cables in and...

Be sure to use the closest Trigger type from the drop-down list. Like Cy-15R (Not sure if the 13" Roland Ride is one of the choices) for the ride. PD-125 for the drums. Then look at the manual it has step by step directions for setting up a new pad. You can use one 3 zone Roland type Ride which...

  • I have the tempered glass screen protector on my Mimic and cleaning that with just a damp cloth works. But I went ahead and picked up a can of the Sprayway glass cleaner. Really good stuff. I keep it over by the module now, but pull it out for all my other screens too. Thanks for the tip. Very inexpensive...

Like I said in my latter post. Contact 2Box direct. I found out yesterday that a couple modules have already had a "bad" card. Found that out yesterday....

16 Balanced Outputs ...... so TRS. The SD Card slot will be used in the future. I did a beta OS update that flashed the module and for that the SD card was used, but not sure what all it will be used for in the future....

I can say without a doubt the "latency" definitely is enough to cause sounds to back up, very noticable ...... maybe not with some of the factory sounds but on larger dsnds when playing a solo for example with a lot going on. I've experienced it as well as others....

Actually, if it is a Stock 2Box module with the factory card inside I would suggest contacting 2Box direct. In the brief time since posting my reply I have heard from a 2Box D3 owner who had a similar problem and was sent a new Card for the module. Evidently there are a few out there with "card"...

I have not experienced any stuttering or latency. One thing to remember though: When you play your kit be sure you are on the Home/Kit page. If you are on any of the Unit pages or other Instrument pages, etc. you will experience latency like that. If you are browsing or doing any editing on other pages...

The TD-17 kits have just been released. The individual components release after. They will release more info I'm sure when that starts to happen. Roland is actually pretty fast at releasing the individual components. Many companies do not release individual kit components for many months or years after...

Yeah, I've had my Mimic for months, on and off everyday and never had anything reset like that. No idea. 2nd Alan's recommendation. I never really have to worry about that type of thing as I do regular backups of the Trigger Presets I tweak, Configuration and All User Kits....

Yeah, maybe ..... or maybe they just use one of the Cy-8's for a second crash and buy a 2 jack 3 zone ride since there is already a Ride Bell cable that is useless with most Roland modules for anything else .... LOL ....
But, yes, with a one jack Piezo/Switch cymbal like the Cy-8 you could...

Well, they didn't have velocity switching sounds in the TD-9/11/15. So no reason to believe they would have it in the new TD-17. They include the Cy 3 zone ride in the KVX pack and I'm pretty sure when ordering the TD-17KV kit a customer could request an upgrade price from the Cy-8 to a Cy-13R or Cy-15R...

Nope, no mention of velocity switching bow/bell sounds in the manual or instrument list like other modules that have velocity switching bow/bell sounds....

Since the Velocity Curves are part of the individual pad's Trigger Settings it is a Universal setting, not per kit. That is the case with any drum module AFAIK. IMO I can't normally see much use for a per kit velocity curve, I guess one example where it would be different might be if a person is actually...

The piece to mount to the stand is just a standard Rack clamp like is used to mount pads to the rack. You can use Roland plastic type or metal clamps like Gibraltar. The clamp goes on the upright leg. You can see all that in the pictures of the manuals for the TD-17KL, KV or KVX kits. http://www.eb...
