replied to Can I run a 2 hi hat system via my TD20
Hi, above I was talking about simply using a Headphone type splitter for using two HH cymbals on the same HH cymbal input. So you are just running a "Copy" persay. You are thinking about the "Special" TD Module Piezo/Piezo splitter for using two single zone pads in a Tom or Aux....

Visit my website, there is quite a bit of info there on my Purchase page, and just use the Contact Us for more specifics. I provide detailed step by step installation pics and videos all setup parameters, etc for all the modules I support with conversion kits. For the Mimic I have trigger presets for...

Until they release more sound expansion packs or a Multivelocity Editor for the Mimic there are a lot of sounds/instruments I am using that are not available yet in the Mimic ...... my Octobans and the Gong you hear in many of my demo videos are a couple examples.
    The cymbals are Name brand,...

Shameless plug, but I of course use my own Stealthdrums.com drum conversion kits with the Mimic and they work excellent, internal center mount or internal side mount. I also recently picked up a few or the Prism 3 ply heads. Very nice heads, not "bouncy" and very reasonably priced: https://www.prism-products.us/rr-ser...-8-10-12-sizes...

Yeah, that was my first time recording the TD-50 and I had the Hi Hat too low in the mixer. I have 2 other TD-50 demo videos though on my YouTube channel using the same HH, as well as Mimic demo videos and the same Hi Hat. Just test out your stand/pedal as I mentioned and see how it works for you. The...

  • The 16" are 3 zone Ride type cymbals with 2 jacks as the Crash cymbals on the Strike are 14". You will be able to use them as 3 zone or 2 zone cymbal, with choke. Set one as a CY-15R and use it as a Ride cymbal with the TD-30. Or, any/all could be used as a Crash, pick CY-14C as pad type in...

  • You are correct, you can assign the Hi Hat sound to another input and your Main Hi Hat controller will control that also. The OP has a main VH-12 Hi Hat. So he can connect the HH cymbal from the VH-11 to another input and have control of the HH sound from his main (VH-12) HH pedal. But when he mentions...

I did a video demo using my Stealth PDP/FD stand with the TD-50 set to VH-13 HH type. The Hart pedal is a little different, so I can't say for sure it will work like this, but I am guessing that it will because it has resistance range similar ....... once you do some manual manipulation of the calibration...

The adapter you are talking about is only needed for VH-12 mode which has a different resistance range than the VH-11 or VH-13. You don't need it if you choose VH-11 or VH-13 as your HH type. I would suggest setting the Hart to VH-13 type and try that out. You can go into the HH settings and do some...

  • DIY Edrum obsession ....... how to know when you are in too deep

OK, I'll start this out ......... You know you are too obsessed with your DIY Edrum project when:
You walk past the Pampers in the super-market and think ......... hmm ....... those might work for dampening my kick head.

  • No, because you would be using the cymbal only of the VH-11. Your controller is your main stand and the VH-12. You can only have one HH controller on the module, not 2. To be clear, sure you can put the VH-11 on a remote HH stand, but since you can only have one controller and you already have that...

  • I am adding these two pads to my ad. It's time to clear out some storage space. These are both dual zone and play excellent equivalent to a Roland PD-108 (10") or PD-128 (12") These were my add-on half toms with my Stealth Birdseye Maple Burst kit that I sold a while back. They are a beautiful...

Yes, obviously "Edrummers" are not really the target of this new EAD-10. If you look at the Hybrid type products Roland has been turning out for the last couple years ..... obviously there IS a market .... and I dare say a current trend ....... enhancing the acoustic kit with electronics....

The Rim clicks or Rimshots, X-stick on the Mimic are a lot more adjustable with the Mimic, better than Roland IMO. I choose Rim Shot Side instead of Rim Clicks for the Snare. Simply go into the Trigger screen look at the snare Instrument Assignments. Personally I choose, Head, Rim Shot Side, and Rimshot...

  • I would say those that are looking for a drum sound module that has excellent Real drum sounds with all the studio features, mics, Room, verb, etc.... the kind of kits you have in the best VST software, basically a bunch of kits that will replace a bunch of well miked/recorded, excellent sounding acoustic...

Yeah, you can pretty much get any screen protector you would use on a tablet for the Mimic as long as it is at least as large as the screen. Most likely you will have to cut it. I think all of them, or at least the vast majority are sensitive to touch. I just took an extra screen protector for a tablet...
