The module does NOT ship with a mounting plate ..... and if you order a module solo from pretty much any other eDrum company that is pretty much standard. You normally only get a mounting plate if you buy a complete eDrum kit.

I checked with Bengt and he told me standard 4 hole mounting...

That is correct and AFAIK the .dsnds for the Drumit Five will work just fine in the Drumit Three and Vice Versa. The thing that will be a little different will be the Config setting file for the 2 modules since the Drumit Three module will have additional trigger types and less outputs. I could start...

Actually, the choice in the module is called Variable. With that the module will pick a velocity above or below if the same velocity is hit simultaneously. You can leave it on by default or turn it off. I have played for many years with the 2Box and even if you turn Variable OFF ..... with a very large...

replied to Roland Splitting Cymbal Bell Inputs
As far as adding what you want: All your Tom inputs plus the Aux input CAN be split if you build the Special DIY Roland Piezo/Piezo input splitter (or buy one already made). The results that way are OK .... the Rim portion of the splitter is not perfect, but would be fine for splashes. You don't want...

The Ride Bell cable for the TD-9 ONLY will work with the Bell jack of the Roland style 3 zone cymbals. So, you haven't missed anything. You cannot use it for another Crash. Some Roland modules like the TD-12, 20, 30 do allow you to change the trigger type and you CAN use the module Bell input for a...

  • Thanks Chris .... I know the technique, and some of the crashes in the Mimic crescendo better than others, but I thought you might have edited the mixer/mics. That's what I was wondering about....

  • Chris is that Swell cymbal setting available, maybe in one of the kits you already did, or? ..... That will definitely be one a lot of drummers could use until the swell feature is added to the Mimic....

  • Yeah Trip, that was just thrown together in a matter of minutes from whatever was on hand as a quick proto-type which actually performs perfect in VH13 mode with the Mimic. I definitely wouldn't put together something that looked like that to sell ..... LOL ..... But I decided not to bother building...

  • Stealthdrums Crystal Beat Tangerine Gloss Kit Complete

It's been a while! I was waiting and waiting for my 10" Crystal Beat Tangerine Glass tom to complete my kit. UPS lost the 1st one and the replacement I ordered was on back-order. It finally came in today. I installed my Stealth ISM drum conversion kit and put it in the kit. I am really happy with...

It might just be that I tighten the H_LL out of my snare head. I like it very tight. But I am definitely having to go back and re-tighten that head after a few days. I mean, I have no dog in this fight. It doesn't matter to me if this head is the "one" or not. I really like the way it feels...

  • I loaded up your kits yesterday Chris. Thanks for the time you have spent and offering that to others for free ..... My experience always seems like it is the Free stuff I do that I get the most complaints or grief over ...... LOL ..... I'm enjoying quite a few of your kits! As far as the Reverb .......

Yes, I've had the 14" on my snare for a couple months now. It seems very durable, no signs of wear. The response is nice, reduced bounce compared to most other mesh heads, no trampoline effect. The only thing I notice that would be a negative is it does seem to stretch. I tighten my snare head...

There is a very big advantage to using regular YPP117 splitters along with the new Mimic splitter preset! The sensitivity of the Rim side is now completely adjustable so that you can have a very dynamic trigger on both head and rim ..... get the YPP117 and loose the special TD splitters is my advice....

I should be getting my hands on a Drumit Three, probably this month ..... so I'll be testing lots of things including the Stealth 2Box 32GB Card Mod Kit ...... (don't tell on me ..... I'll be popping that sucka open soon after I get it ..... LOL).

  • Yeah man, that Mimic screen is super responsive, so much so you almost have to be careful not to accidentally touch the wrong thing. And that is either with the original screen, and the same with the Tempered Glass screen protector in place....

  • I wouldn't have recommended it if it didn't work well ..... ?? Not resistive type as the Mimic screen reacts to just the lightest touch. Mimic has the same kind of screen as new cell phones AFAIK and those also work great with Tempered glass screen protectors ........
