Hi from a total noob

Hi all, started learning the drums at Christmas, wanted to play in my church band, totally caught the drumming bug now! My wife went from "this better not be a 5 minute flash in the pan thing" to "are you going to spend EVERY evening playing?!" I got a fairly inexpensive electronic kit to see if I would take to drumming, now looking to upgrade to a TD11 in July (there seems to be a lot of people posting they have just got that model on here!)

You are gonna love it.....on the other hand, the wife may not like it at all....just sayin'. When I come up from practicing, my wife says, "remember me?'

Wow! Welcome and glad you got the bug...it's a good one to have! You will love the TD-11. Hope you have fun here as well as learn all the good tips and tricks you can use along the way. Post some pics when you get all set up. If the wife gives you grief about "flash in the pan" or "every night"....just playfully tell her she can always give you something else to do on the extra curricular list every night lol. Or tell her that marrying her wasn't a flash in the pan lol.

And no worries about the n00b part.....I'm one of the biggest ones on any Forum lol.

You may also want to consider something like a used TD-9 SX or KX since it comes with mesh heads and the module is still a good unit. It was replaced by the TD-15 a couple of years ago. Good luck and have fun.
