  • Hi, new to drums

I have just upgraded from an entry level kit to a Roland TD-KX2 I got second hand. I have been "airdrumming" for quite a while and finally took the plunge and bought a kit 6 months ago.
Pretty much not a day goes by that I don't have a bash and am loving it. Not interested in learning sheet music just want to hear and play it, so I play along to my fav tracks.
Also a bit of a tech head so i am already using Reaper with AD2 as this was an upgrade from my previous kit sounds.
Cant wait to learn some new stuff and ask some stupid questions!! haha

On the subject of air-drumming (at the risk of being accused of hijacking), watch out for the August issue of digitalDrummer, with an air-drumming review (yes, seriously!).
