Hope someone state-side can help. My daughter is currently living in Florida. Her iPhone died and my sister sent her an old one. Unfortunately, it's locked to AT&T.
Can anyone explain how one goes about getting it unlocked? I assume it has to be my sister who requests the unlock? It all seems quite complicated and clearly I can't help from here. I know in Oz, we can just go into phone shop in the mall and get phones unlocked for about $20, but I don't know if that's an option where she is.
