  • How to play TD30 patterns on a USB memory stick, on a laptop in MP3 or WAV?

    Hi,
I saved some TD30 patterns on a Roland USB memory stick (flash drive). Is there a way to convert these files into MP3 files? Or any other way I can mail my bandmembers these recordingfiles to rehears on without having to use the drumcomputer to play and listen to them?

Welcome to the Forums!!! You need to post questions like this in the Technical thread where more tech heads will read it. This is the thread for introductions with pics. Have fun here!

Not sure you can save patterns and play them elsewhere or convert them. I think the easiest thing would be just to straight record your playing via the headphone or main outs jacks into any type of recording device (laptop, recorder, etc etc). If its patterns you're after, you need to record them into a DAW via MIDI and then you can have your band mates play it out of their DAW after importing it in. Of course, if your band mates have aTD30 at their end they should be able to play from the same USB thumb drive.
