  • Hello from CT

Just a quick "hi" to introduce myself. My name is Rob and I live in South east CT (Near Foxwoods casino). I've been playing drums for approximately 27 , years and have been playing electronics, exclusively, since 1994. My first was a Roland TD-7 first gen, and shortly after I purchased a TD-10 when they first came out somewhere around 97 I think. Well.....from there I just had to get the new TD-10 with the newly expanded COSM in the V-Studio series, or was it the concert series??? I don't remember, its been so long...lol. They're the red ones, with the updated v-cymbals. And that's where it ended for me up to this point. Its mazing that to this day, I still learn new things / tweaks for the td-10. I still have my old TD7 and still use it to this day. I had it intertwined (because I could never figure out the midi) with the v-drums. Ironically enough, that same TD7 is currently my 4 year old sons FIRST kit!!! Lucky little tyke!!! What an AWESOME first kit!!!! HAHA

Thanks everyone! Ive been out of the "technology" loop when it come to edrumming for a while now. A LOT has changed, and Ive got some SERIOUS catching up to do!! My dinosaur rig has been very good to me.....but Ive got really bad GAS at the moment!!! HAHA.....Probably jus go with the TD30....seems to be able to do everything that I want and then some. But, on the other hand the technology has progressed to a point where I just may not need to purchase a 30......options....always good to have options to confuse my thought process!!!
