So - after 17 years without drumming, I had to face the fact: You can't ignore muscle memory forever. Once a drummer, always a drummer.
After much consideration and spending a lot (*a lot*) of time here on vdrums.com, I went ahead and bought my TD-15KV. Living in a 4th floor apartment, that also meant clearing out a room and building a riser of MDF boards, industrial rubber mats and wood felt. I've had a few hours behind the kit now, and man, it feels great.
But I just wanted to say that the huge amount of info and advice, tricks and tips and opinions on this forum really helped me in the process of going from knowing nothing - zip - about edrums, to finally settle on the TD-15KV.
Thanks!
