  • Hi from bournemouth uk.

    Hi ,
im simon im a electronic music producer and drummer im looking at buying either a td9k or a td4k but im a little confused because the spec of the td9 looks higher than the td4 but the td4 is more expensive.

Hi and welcome. I reckon the difference is down to the fact that the 4 is new, and exchange rates have changed etc. I'd go for the 9 anyway, much nicer, and don't forget Ebay. Someone here was selling a mint 9 for little money a little while back.
    Enjoy your time here.

      welcome to the forum...

definitely go for the 9...and expect its prices to rise as the exchange rate problems start to hit - many european shops raised their roland prices by 20% on 1st January---the 4th should be priced a bit below it, though it will take some time to settle at a price point..as, as Kevh said, its brand new...the prices you see are manufacturer's recommended - and actual street prices will fall as competition sets in...

      enjoy whatever kit you buy!

Welcome Simon. Another Brit in for the count. Great.

Go for the TD9 mate. You wont regret it.

Is the Winter Gardens still there mate. Played there once, a million years ago.

I'm devastated! I saw Mike and Bernie Winters there in my youth. (Should I have admitted to that I wonder?)

Bournemouth, you say? Well if you see Robert Fripp, tell him I said 'Hi'.

A TD-4 would have that new module smell though.

Anyone else think it looks like a car radio?
