Ahh thanks for the warning; I'm sure the bug will catch up with me sooner than later!

I'm intrigued to find out some of your thoughts on how serious a piece of kit the Roland td20 really is. Is it so good that you would happily take it into the studio to record? How does it come across in a lets say, live 'rock' gig?

I heard some good things about the expansion kit as well, but can this thing really retire my acoustic kit....I know it's a general question will too many permutations and scenarios to mention, but I just wanted to get a idea of your thoughts if possible.

Even though my kit has not turned up yet, I guess the main selling point for me is the flexibility and the option to play around with so many setups and sounds.

              Cheers

              Andy

wecome, it certainly has replaced my accoustic kit for recording. less noise, more flexible, much easier to mix, no more endless, expensive (mic wise) set up time. i think you'll like em but i had to get used to playing a bit different with the v-drums. once i did though, i loved em.
