So after 8-9 months of waiting to get drums and researching during that time due to money constraints i ended up getting the TD-9sx after reading these forums and getting alot of info on the drums so i just wanted to say thanks to this community at large for it!
I wanted a drum kit to learn on but i also didn't want to waste money on a kit i was just going to replace because i'm not exactly rich and i want to record my album in my home built studio that i will eventually get around too when i have the money lol. So 2500$ goes out the door and i get a new toy.
But to keep this short im very happy with what i've bought. Sound quality is good through my akg 271's and the fact there is songs for me to play along with and learn at my own pace "without" pissing other people off unlike my guitar is priceless.
And i keep reading how people like pics and recordings so here is a pic of my TD-9. I don't use those headphones anymore :P!
Here is my first recording on the drums after 4 days of playing. If your noticing that its only sound on one speaker i noobed it pretty good and made a mistake and was too lazy to correct it as i just wanted to hear it! And i also fiddled with the kit a bit.
Here is my first recording after a month of playing and writing a drum track for a song.
Here is a recording of probably my favorite one in the TD-9 a couple days later.
And now playing with the full version of the previous song a couple days after that.
Haven't been doing much recently due to work but i just wanted to say thanks because im learning alot faster then i thought i would and without being taught by anyone to boot! well aside from the free drum lessons on that one site. But that doesn't count
