New owner of a TD-3. Enjoying the peace of practicing in the basement without the family freaking out.My TD-3 was a great deal at $850. What level and sensitivity do you guys set your drums at? I'm a big fan of the #15 setting so far.Rocking away to the Ramones at wee hours!

Congrats on your new kit and welcome to the forum. I understand the whole freak out thing but I also include the neighbors in my freak out mode. I play so bad I kinda feel obligated to give them a little something should I ever make it big.

Hello. I just went through this. I have a TD 12 - but the process is the same (I think). The sensitivity setting is really a function of your playing dynamics. Mine do vary , but after experimenting a bit, I believe I have them set between 8 and 12, depending on the pad/cymbal. If you rock out, and your amps go to 11, crank 'em up! Make sure they are set to meet your dymic range requirements, and have fun.

I've had my TD-3 just over a year now. I usually just stick with kit#1. I'm not all that fond of the other ones. I haven't messed with the settings all that much.

One thing you might want to consider is adding a Pintech Dingbat. I recently added one to my TD-3 kit. I ordered it from Hope Drums, dealt with Brian, nice guy, very helpful. You can assign it any sound the module has. I wanted to add a cowbell, but you can add what ever else you want or need. It's nice to have another sound.
