Hi all, been a drummer for over 40 years now, had one of the first ever drum pads back in the early 80's, but only got an e-kit last year to protect my singer's voice onstage. Bought a Roland TD9 KX2 and love it!

Apologies, John B - that must be the longest pause between replies ever - sorry! I'm 63 now, based in London and been in pub bands for 48 years, was pro for about 7 years in the late 70's/early 80's, played most countries in Western Europe, currently in 3 bands (if and when we ever get to play again!) one rock, one party and one soul/funk. I want to ask a question of the v-drum users about speakers, so I'll try and find the right forum.Comment

Your right about the time delay mate. I am 71 now. Did you fall into a worm hole ?
I was from West London and played the pubs and clubs back in the day Also coporate stuff and the occasional forces gig, oh and done prisons, hospitals, working mans, sports, social and political clubs, hotels, and with a few other types of function thrown in. You could get a gig anywhere back in the 60s to 80s.
Are you,,,,or should I say were you still doing the pub circuits ?
Stay safe mateLast edited by John.b; 06-04-20, 05:37 AM.Comment

Welcome back to the forum. I had a TD9SX and traded it for lessons when I upgraded. It’s a good kit. Take a look in the Performance forum in the subsection called Live. There you will find a sticky about PA speakers. Good luck with your quest!Last edited by jimorlando; 06-04-20, 05:58 AM.Equipment: TD-30KV, DW9000 hardware, ROC-N-SOC Throne, Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Amp, JBL EON 615 Powered Speaker, Yamaha MG06X. 1965 Ludwig Super Classic.
