  • New New VA / NC

What's up everyone? I'm from NC but, I've recently moved to VA. Just got my TD-15K today. Throne and Kick pedal come tomorrow! I've played guitar for a few years, keyboard, bass, etc.. I thought drumming would help me get my rhythms down a lot better. I'm hoping it will also open my ideas up a bit more when writing on other instruments. Also it gives me the ability to record full songs with drums, bass, keys, and guitar. I have a ton of questions but, I'll read around some first. I do want to know how to edit my signature though? Thanks.

    Welcome aboard!

Signature edit is under your user settings (account settings tab) then about half way down under the Conversation Settings there's a link to edit your signature.

    BTW, I'm from Charlotte, NC

Cool to see a lot of relatively local people. I set up my kit today! Pretty excited about it. I can't wait for my kick pedal and throne. I've got to dial in the heights and angles for the cymbals and heads. I jammed on it for a bit though sitting on a stool and without a kick! Are V-Drums FriendJam and DT-1 V-Drums Tutor worth looking into? It's funny how bad I suck haha...

Cool! I played a lot of shows there at the Eagles den or Eagles nest, whatever it's called in the early 2000's.

hey D3monc, welcome. I just picked up a used TD-15 with a VEX pack loaded (module only) for my grandson - It seems like a great module with really good options and sounds. I have not had it fully connected yet, but look forward to getting the DIY project completed to hear the full monty - so I can appreciate your waiting for the rest of your kit. ... today is the day for you --enjoy
TD-20 (non expanded), acoustic look DIY a to e conversion - some cake pan/ some crossbar method. DIY cymbals, VH-12 :-)

Pics, I have the pearl Demon Drive Eliminator Double Kick Pedal. I bought 2 of the quad head beaters after reading the felt was bad. You can't see it but there on there with the plastic hitting the kick pad.
