New here. Have a td12 set that I am looking to upgrade, thats what brought me here. I am going to stalk the forum and see if I can get the info I need. Unsolicited advice always welcome. I want to keep the core of my set but give it a boost. Maybe a new module. Some new pads for sure. Will go from there. Nice to meet you all.

Welcome to the forum. How about posting some pictures of your current kit. Upgrades are limited only by funds so think about the big picture before you start so you don't end up spending money on upgrades that you could have spent on a new kit. You can also put your kit description in your signature so the real experts here can see what you have. Also need to tell us a little about yourself. Have fun!Equipment: TD-30KV, DW9000 hardware, ROC-N-SOC Throne, Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Amp, JBL EON 615 Powered Speaker, Yamaha MG06X. 1965 Ludwig Super Classic. Black diamond pearl. Zildjian K Custom Dark cymbals, DW 7000 hardware, DW 9000 kick pedal.

Welcome and what are your goals with the upgraded kit? Do you have a budget?TD50 Digital Pack, TD30 and TD9 Modules, custom made pads, Gen16 crashes, and hats plus a few other things that I'm not sure what to do with or why they're still in my kit. If you are not stuck on Roland , 2 box makes an awesome module which is compatible with Roland pads , Jman , a member here ,sells hi hat conversion boxes , for 2 box and the new Zildjian gen 16's bronze edition make some awesome cymbals. Or, if you want to stick with Roland, the td 30 is awesome , although, I like 2 box better having owned both. If you are in the US , check out Erik at RMC audio direct he is a Roland and 2 box dealer. I like the new Pintech custom snares and concert cast toms if you don't want to use your Roland padsLast edited by hemiboy; 07-07-14, 08:37 PM.

Welcome and post some pics of your progress! I agree with the others, what are your goals with this kit? You can score all sorts of deals on used gear to add to your kit, or even upgrade your whole module/set up. Your goals and budget will decide that. What ARE you doing with the kit? Home noodle? Gigging? Garage band? Recording at home? Practice only kit? You've got GAS alright. There are so many options out there with new and used, DIY, etc etc. Sky's the limit. Wish my budget was lol.
