We all had great fun and I really like playing my e-drums.
Now I have VEXed my TD-30 module (I bought the Strike pack) and I have to say that it's a great improvement. The guys at vexpressions has made a great jobb.
I will post some songs/videos from future shows later this year.

                Hi e-drummers!
Last weekend we did another gig. This time at a birthday party.
We recorded it and the result is this.
Not the best camera angle though. :/

... by the way... I use the strike VEX pack kit 1 ( TAMA79IMPst) in these video clips.

Jesse, on the U2 Pride song, the SPD-SX, what are you doing there?

I'm thinking when I upgrade, I need more reasons to get the SX.

                Hello folks!
Yet another video from saturday's gig at party.
Video recorded with a Zoom Q3HD. Sound is recorded from our Yamaha MGP 24X mixed with the sound from the Zoom.

My TD-30KV is VEX:ed using Strike (No 1 TAMA79IMPstr). Great job Alan!

                Enjoy!

You guys sound great! I love the energy of your band, that's what I think so many modern bands are lacking, energy and emotion. Very well done. We play a lot of the same tunes or I have in the past so I very much appreciate what you're doing. Great job on the solo section in Jump, that's such a loopy drum part but so cool.

I look forward to seeing/hearing more from you.

Thanx BWaj! Our philosopy is that every band performance should be fun. It should never feel like another day at work. I think that may contribute to some extra energy.

That is impressive... I would definitely come see your band. That looks and sounds fun.

                  Details on your kit, perhaps?

                    Thanx a lot, Macarina!
The gear I use when performing with this band is...
A Roland TD-30KV kit with an added CY12R/C. I use VEXpressions Strike and mostly kit no 1, the TAMA79ImpStr. I have done some tuning on the snare.
I also use the Roland SPD-sx. It's great for storing tempos for all songs and as a six'th bandmember. doing tambourine, congas and other loops.
Bass drum pedal: Tama HP900PTW Iron Cobra.
                    Hihat stand: Pearl H2000 Eliminator
                    Throne: Pearl D-2500

                    My monitor system consists of...
                    A Yamaha mg 82cx
                    Sure SE535 ear buds

                    That's pretty much it...
Please ask if there is something more you wanna know!

I would like to know what your TD-30 settings are? This sounds so clear and crisp.

I use the Strike VEX pack. And I think it does a great improvement on the module. I have done some volume tweaks and some tuning on the snare for this particular kit (TAMA79ImpStr). I also tweaked some compression on the hihat.
Our Yamaha MGP 24x has a USB port so we recorded "Dancing on the ceiling" direct from the desk. I also mixed some audio from the camera with the sound from the Yamaha. I increased the midrange on the cam's audio to catch some audience and ambience.

                    Best regards!
                    /Jesse
