Nice looking kit. The cymbals are somewhat eye-catching, like looking through night driving glasses!

Luv the cymbals, looks like the kit is the number one priority in the bedroom :-)
              Nothing of importance here

I agree with all the comments about the cymbals - they look really good against the black mesh heads too.

Hmm a nice female singer, cymbals like that, hmm might distract me too much.

Seriously, that is a very nice kit indeed and the cymbals are really cool looking.
Ask not whether something is useful -- ask what it is useful for.

Roland TD-12, Iron Cobra hihat stand and bass-drum pedal from TAMA. My accoustic kit is a Yamaha Power-V Birch with Paiste Alpha-series splashes, crashes, and hihat. My ride is a Zildjan Ping Ride, 20" I think.

Check out my TD-12 on Youtube. My page is here http://www.youtube.com/HerlPearl.

first off all the visulites weightwise feel like a normal cymbal

i own the 16" Dual Zone Chokable Crash,18" ride with bell, and 14" hihats with controller

The crash is extremely accurate and it has the ability to choke it, which is great makes it feel like a normal cymbal....

The ride cymbal is extremely accurate and you can get the different bow and bell sound, both have great response.....

The hihat is controlled with the controller box, which is hooked up to the hihat pedal.....so you have the open sound of the cymbal, the closed sound and the sound of the cymbals hitting together

you can also get the hihat where you have the bell sound as well...

As far as the feeling on the padding on the cymbals they feel different than the rolands, they are not as bouncy, which i like to me they feel closer to a normal cymbal...if you play right anyway you shouldn't be bouncing to begin with....

They make a 3 zone cymbal with bow, bell, and edge...id like to upgrade to it eventually...

bottom line is id recommend these cymbals to anyone that's thinking about getting the visulite cymbals...5 out of 5 stars for me...

Id pretty much recommend anything pintech to anyone ive been happy with everything i own from them ...most of the stuff is handmade and it's made in the US and it's good priced...that's rare these days.

The cymbals are made of 1/4" acrylic

Thanks for the great review. i will have to look into them.
do they come with a anti spin device?
i see that you have the aquarian springs like i have on my kittoys.
where can one find these cymbals??

yeah i love those aquarian springs too..

you get the aquarian springs with the cymbals as well as the cables needed....
Here is good place to buy the visulite cymbals or any pintech stuff and they have free shipping on all the cymbals
