  • Video: Children's Concerto cover

We recorded this back in 1988 at the Obscure art Gallery where I was working as a documentalist. I'm playing an old beatup and patched up westesbury kit.. the only thing worth mentionning is my 20" Paiste 2002 ride.

We did this for fun so don't be to harsh on our jazz chops!

hmmm over 50 views and not even one comment.

Not even a; "dude, its not cool to wear a watch while playing drums!"

Or a; "damn, that cymbal to your left sounds like pure crap"

Maybe if I post a video of Bruford's Beelzebud on my vdrums...

That wasn't bad! I liked the snare/rim action about 2/3rds the way thru.
Perhaps some brush action would have been nice, but overall, nice!

Thanks. There is no brush in the original piece.

It's really not my kind of music at all but I appreciate it, I probably couldn't play it myself and you're obviously very good at what you do so kudos there!

Discontinued in 1986 but reintroduced in 1988 due to popular demand. Over the years the model line has changed significantly. Many types were introduced and discontinued. From 1994 to 1999 it also incorporated the RUDE series (2002 RUDE). From 2005 to 2006 the 2002 line included many models from the defunct Dimensions series of cymbals, but most of the Dimensions models have since been discontinued from the series."

John Bonham played Paiste cymbals. He used Paiste Giant Beat cymbals until 1975.
