I am so susceptible to silly ideas you have to be careful around me. vdrummer20 just happened to mention seeing my kit from space and I thought, "How am I going to signal those guys?"

I proudly present the latest piece for the Mondor:
    The Array

I had to build a special mount for this crazy thing. It still slips a bit. Does anyone know a good way to hatch my mounting rods?

I still need to get it all hooked up to my TMC-6. That happens tonight!

Damn man, now that's what I call hardcore... Are those suckers single zone?

      TD-20 + TMC-6 + VF-1 + Gen16's = Not enough inputs.

It does. But that is because the clamps slip. I really need to hatch them.

Actually, each is 4 zone! The head and all 3 rims have an individual out. The rims feel like whacking stone, so right now I am only using the heads.

The mount was pretty straight forward. I used a 7.5" Masonry wheel because it was hardended steel with a reinforced edge. I drilled and mounted 6 1/2" hex bolts and then used a cutting wheel to remove the heads. I did the same with a 5/8" bolt for the center mount. Because this crazy thing has a cutting edge, I sprayed on Plasti-Dip to blunt the edges. Pop it on a stand and there you go.

I haven't gotten TV reception yet, but the FCC is snooping around the neighborhood.
