  • New pads for my humble little kit !!!

    Picked these up the other day ! I really like the feel of these pads.
    I know it is only a TD 3 but it really plays great !!! Thanks, Eric G.

      Being a gear hound like all drummers I might pick up a KD-85 in the
      near future. Some mesh kicks at least for me tend to be bouncy but
      do they have foam inserts that are more solid feeling these days ? !

        I can't comment on the Roland kicks as I built my own 13'' mesh kick. It is quite bouncy but I have become used to the feel of it. I find it makes me work harder and has improved my kick technique, I can certainly notice the difference when going back to my Acoustics...

            Hiya to ya!

            I like the PD 85's, u just can't beat a Roland head, crank it down tight and it feels and responds superbly They seem bullet proof.

              Nice one! I just added a pdx8 for my snare recently, really like the mesh vs the rubber pad feel! Enjoy them!!

                Thanks for the positive comments people. I will be getting a KD-85 kick
                very soon !! I am enjoying V-Drums much more than I thought I would !!

                  Yeah Mesh pads are great when I bought the 9's I bit the bullet and ponyed up for the mesh pads right away!
