  • Fun show tonight!

Not sure when we'll get the video but hoping to share it soon. TD50 sounded awesome through this Meyers rig! Loving this module after taking the time to properly tweak it. The digital snare is such a joy to play. The production was nuts. I had a double 18 Meyers sub with a dual 12/horn behind me even though I'm using in ears. That along with side fills, a ton of front wedges and 50,000 watts out front and thump was not an issue, lol. I wish I could play through this stuff every night! In two days it will be a pair of powered Samson speakers for mains, lol. The highs and lows of being a musician!
TD50 Digital Pack, TD30 and TD9 Modules, custom made pads, Gen16 crashes, and hats plus a few other things that I'm not sure what to do with or why they're still in my kit. That is amazing playing through Meyers! I think the 2 ways are around $2000 or more per speaker. I am in the Bay Area and there are a lot of Meyer systems around here even in small venues. I have a friend that works for Meyer and he said John Meyer is very eccentric. He is always innovating and has company meetings where they talk about concepts that are more abstract and not directly related to PA systems.

As in SF Bay area? Absolutely love it out there! This rig was insane, DiGico boards, that new Sennheiser wireless rig and a bunch of things I've never heard of, lol. I'm not sure I'll ever play a gig like this again, but I sure want too!

Fortunate other than the one song I got off from the track on, lol. Luckily there was not too much on the track so they faded it out and the audience was none the wiser. Still embarrassing. If the singers looks could kill...

Yes,SF bay Area. Sounds like an awesome gig! Meyer is over in Berkeley. I think they started with the Grateful Dead and that got them into major concert venues. .

I have good friends and X bandmates out there. I played city hall and treasure island out that way a few years back. I hear they did away with treasure island But the entire bay area is amazing. I produced events for Levi's/Dockers for about 6 year as well. So the area is a favorite of mine. I did not realize Meyer was from there. Never been specifically to the Berkeley area. I had a show there this year that canceled. Was really looking forward to seeing the town. I'll shoot you a line if I'm out that way again. We can take turns hitting each other with Mimic and TD50 modules, lol.
