  • New Petty sound setup

Here's what I'm using for the Steve Ferone/Tom Petty type gigs...I also us it for all my country setups as well. It has 2 main snares along with the rim shot I've used before...cymbals are a bit different...more ping in the ride and sizzles in the crashes...this time with a set of 15" hats...

tom petty kit - just a small test of some news setting on the TD12. It features the new drum sounds, and a short blurb from Tom Petty to see how they fit in...please excuse the playing...lol Best listened to with headphones...
Don't even tell me us old farts still don't have something to say and learn! Just give me some ghost notes and I'll Purdie your brains out!

Playin' for over 50 years (21 years 5 & 6 nights a week) and still lovin' every minute of it!!! TD-12 noob and growing!:p

No copyright infringement intended...A play-a-long featuring my TD-12 settings for Tom Petty type tunes. Ballads are just as important to play along with as other more complicated pieces. Free Fallin' is one of my favorites to play, and other than adding a little reverb, this is my new Tom Petty setting. I may no claims to copyright this tune...only my playing...best to be listened to with phones...
