Sound Card

I am looking for a good, but inexpensive sound card to use to take sounds from my vs-880. I would like something with both analog and digital inputs and outputs. I really don't need more than 2...i've seen some with 8 or more.
I currently have cool edit pro and have access to just about anything. I'm running a PIII 933 with 384 meg of ram. If any of this matters. Oh yeah...it would need drivers for windows ME(i know it's a bad OS)

What would you recommend?

Can I find something for around $100?

You could check out the Audiophile 2496 (m-audio) or the ECHO Mia. I've heard good things on both of these - you can get either for about $179 (at such places as Guitar Center/Musician's freind) and I think both have one pair each of analog and digital in/out (better check that though), are very clean, and have good drivers.

I personally use Sonar 2.1 as the sequencer, running under Windows XP, which I recommend you switch to (even XP Home is fine). It's a much better, more stable, more compatible OS than ME was (even 98se would be better than ME in most cases).
