Just listened to the new Nirvana release. I thought that guy died years ago? I don't know if it is cool to admit it or not but I liked Nirvana pretty ok. I even bought a CD once. I'm glad they're recording again. I wonder when they'll release the album?

Kurt?
Look at what they did to Elvis!
25 years after his death and he is still making, err-ah, I mean Lisa Marie is still making money. Guess she needed another face lift!

El-Vez?
I almost got married by Elvis in Vegas a few years ago... Ended up going with the little minister lady instead (cheaper!).
As for Nirvana, Kurt is just as dead, Dave has moved on, and the only people who seem to have a stake in this would be Krist and Courtney. I heard they finally settled their differences thru arbitration or something, and that the compilation (plus 1 unreleased track) was coming out. Personally, I feel that subsequent events have proven that, for once, the drummer was the REAL talent in that band! Foo Fighters are/is wayyyy better than Nirvana ever was, IMHO.
Also, unreleased tracks were usually unreleased for a reason - they didn't make the cut for an album release. B-material. One big exception is "Little Wing" covered by SRV on "The Sky Is Crying" album. Positively religious.-Danny

Foo Fighters
Yup, I love the fact that the first Foo Fighters album was just Dave. Writing, instrumentation, and vocals. As they would say in Japan (in broken Engrish):
Foo Fighters are kicking the much ass. Rock boy for you. Beautiful living.

I was knocked out by Dave on that first Foo album....I agree with Danny completely. Dave has an excess of talent, and is an excellent drummer besides.Comment

Ner-Vanna
Finally heard the new/old Nirvana song, and as advertised, it is pretty damned good! Hell, if the peckerhead hadn't eaten his shotgun, their next album might've been pretty damned great. Too bad.-Danny
