TD-12 Pattern length limit

I'm using the pattern recorder on my TD-12 along with my other recording gear to get separate drum tracks to mix with and was wondering if anyone is aware of a limit to the pattern length able to be recorded in the TD-12.

The onboard sequencer allows you to record (up to 20000 notes) or jam along with one of the 150 preset patterns which is pretty much the same limitation on the TD-20....
