When you recorded it, were you thinking on a specific riff, or everything is just random beats?

It's a drum part for an old Tull song, Minstrel In The Gallery I'm doing with my old bandmates. This is a largely reduced bandwidth version, the original was 79mb, this is a little over 5mb.

I've seen many times that you mention using Emulator X.
I know it is a sampler. What drum sounds do you assign to this sampler?

No, it's DFH Superior. I use Emulator X mostly for everything else, but there are some very nice 24 bit kits that come with it.
