  • WTB: "Hammer"-type inverted beater

I currently have one black "hammer" beater (don't know how to better describe it), and one white mallet beater for my pair of KD-7's, and the difference in feel is starting to drive me crazy. Anyone have one for sale, or know where I could get one?

    Thanks-
    Pete

    Pjames,

I saw that you never got an answer. I have the same problem with my pair of KD7. How did you solve the problem?.

Did you try one of those Pinthech inverted beater?

I saw that Roland sell a KDB7 a felt inverted beater for the KD7 for 34$ is almost twice of any good regular beater that you find on the market. Too way expensive.

    Presto

Never did solve that problem properly. Just got used to the feel. And I asked for a KD-80 for Christmas

I also have the felt+plastic beater problem.

I want to exchange, i live in Canada, we could cross-ship a beater to each other so we would have both twin beaters.

I think don't mind keeping the felts or the plastics, i'd prefer felt but i just want 2 identical beaters!!

Heh, I did get that KD-80 (little over a year ago), but I'd still be up for swapping beaters. I recently moved, so let me make sure I can find the box that has it before we work out a swap. I'll send you a message shortly.

not sure if this has been resolved yet but I bought an "after market" white felt beater made by Gibralter for my inverted kick pad at Guitar Center so they do exist.
