  • Looking for....

I need an inexpensive means (besides cans) to monitor Vdrums in my studio when not recording. Anybody trying to get rid of a KC300 or something similar? I'm open to a rack mount amp (60watts minimum) and/or suitable 2 way speaker(s).

    Thanks,
    Rick

I've got an Alesis RA-100 reference amplifier (rack mount) that I might part with for the right price.

You horse traders down in Georgia scare me Doc! Only you know what the right price is, but I'll play along and start the bidding at $50. Do I hear...........

I've got two Carvin 742 monitors and a Carvin HT760 monitor amp. The amp is in a Grundorf 2-space case. All for $500 (buyer shipping), with two speaker cords. E-mail me if you want more specifics.

jg, the Carvins are gonna be over-kill for my small studio. I'm wanting to spend a bit less also, but thanks for posting.
I'm considering just building a speaker and running it out of my marshall or a rack amp.
This isn't crutial monitoring, I suppose I could even run through a stereo reciever?
