      (...to be continued:

      list of the most important fixes: )

      GGD Fixes:

      ---

      NEW GetGood Drums ("GGD") Snare FIX feature: Snare Engine toggle available now πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘‰

      You already know about the GGD Snare Drum FIX

      "GGD snare drum "CENTER" <-> "RIMSHOT" separation" ? πŸ‘‰

      https://www.facebook.com/groups/5791...6241668956156/

      Well, having it separated (only the HEAD articulation on the center head of the snare pad) suits well for many musical situations/demands (when you do not want 'disturbing' Rimshots).

      But there are also playing situations or musical demands when you would want the original engine with the RIMSHOTSat high velocities.

      So here comes GOOD NEWS! - Having it both is possible NOW! :

      -> just swap the engines with a padstroke (while playing)! 😊 (-> define a dedicated pad zone (like a (Floor)Tom Rim) which will function as a switch)

      - When playing the "Separated" Engine you'll have the whole dynamical range of Snare Center Head samples translated to the whole MIDI velocity range. Also, the Snare volume level has been adjusted to fit and match the Original Engine.

      RIMSHOTS and (if wanted at lower incoming velocities) SIDE STICK articulations are available on the RIM of the snare pad.

      -- vs.--

      - When switching back to the "Original" Engine you'll have the default Snare behavior with RIMSHOTS triggered by high velocities. And of course on the rim of the pad the exclusive RIMSHOTS and (if wanted at lower incoming velocities) SIDE STICK articulations stay available or you can have the SIDE STICK exclusively.

      I'm absolutely sure: being able to switch to both Snare translation options is a super great benefit and your snare sound will fit all musical demands.

      Enjoy ‼️ πŸ™‚

        NEW SuperiorDrummer2/3 + EZDrummer2 Hihat Engine Toggle for creative e-drummers πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘‰

        Switch (while you're playing!) between the following two Hihat Engines πŸ˜ƒ:
        • --> the normal FIXED (all shortcomings fixed!) Hihat Engine ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/5791...0855446161443/ __+__ https://www.facebook.com/groups/5791...8304696416519/ ) + or in addition even playing the "Consistently controllable 2-closed-stages Variable Hihat" : https://www.facebook.com/groups/5791...3581597222161/ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ..................................................
        • --> the SPECIAL Hihat Engine : the pad's BOW will provide the normal Variable "Tip" (or you can also choose "Edge") CC Hihat (of course with all fixes as described) and the pad's EDGE will be the TIGHT EDGE or CLOSED EDGE articulation exclusively (no matter what the pedal controller position is). This setting can be super creative because an open hihat sound (from BOW hits) will be muted with an EDGE hit. --> Great when playing DoubleBass parts and it's also super cool to be able to achieve a fast alternation between TIGHT (or CLOSED) EDGE and Pedal CHICK sounds.

        Of course you'll have the option to toggle both Hihat Engines after your creative needs while you're playing (by hitting a dedicated controller pad zone (like a Tom rim) that functions as a switch) πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘

        Available for the DAWs: "Cubase Artist/Pro" , "Logic Pro X" , "Reaper" , "Bidule" , "Ableton Live Suite"

        Interested? or any questions? -> Post an answer or send a PM please.

            eDRUMin (Audiofront's gorgeous Trigger module) Setup Service

            The eDRUMin TriggerToMidi device is super powerful + comfortable and at the same time super inexpensive - so it's definitely a great choice for any e-drummer (especially for A2E players) and will even work nicely as an additional trigger input extension for players who are already using a Roland module as Trigger2Midi device but seeking more trigger inputs.

            The eDRUMin control app provides detailed and unique features.

            So if you need help on dialling in the eDRUMin in order to match your dream of an e-drum translation - get in touch: I can do this for you! and it can easily be done via remote-desktop

              Roland Digital Hihat "VH-14D" --> Positional Sensing (also LEFT<->RIGHT hand distinction) - Software Drumming INTEGRATION πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘‰

              You want to benefit from the new Roland 'VH-14D' Postitional Sensing features when playing your drum samplers?

              [ = conventional Positional Sensing (towards BELL vs. towards EDGE)

              and additional Left<->Right Positional Sensing ‼️ ]

              --> no problem! Possible NOW πŸ‘ even with drum samplers other than 'Superior Drummer3'! via a workaround. (If you are a SD3 e-drummer: -> Of course I can easily set it up in your SD3 projects if you struggle with it πŸ™‚).

              (as most software drum samplers still lack [L<->R] and [towards BELL vs. towards EDGE] Hihat samples you can easily audio tweak the hihat sounds in order to get a slight difference. (For the [towards BELL] Positional Sensing zone you can even use Hihat Bell sounds if they are available. -> So you can finally make a Roland Hihat pad compatible with Hihat Bell sounds!πŸ‘)

              This (especially the L<->R distinction! , IMO) will be a great benefit in terms of super authentical and lively hihat playing/ software sampler hihat sound...

              (of course you can also have big difference with an advanced, experimental "Keep It Unreal" approach!πŸ™‚)

              supported DAWs (basically for drum samplers other than SD3 (SD3 will also work without using a DAW)):

              "Cubase Artist/Pro" , "Logic Pro X" , "Reaper" , "Bidule" , "Ableton Live Suite".

              Enjoy! πŸ™‚

                Roland Digital Hihat "VH-14D" <-> Superior Drummer 3 - Positional Sensing ZONES : all combinations and options
                I.E. setting up a VH-14D BELL zone ( --> SD3 Hihat Bell articulations) possible for the first time πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘‰
                How many ZONES will I get? ---> SIX β€Ό

                What ZONES exactely? ---> EDGE left ; EDGE right ;; BOW left ; BOW right ;; (near) BELL left ; (near) BELL right

                Can I use the VH-14D Bell and the "near BELL" zone for Superior Drummer 3 Hihat Bell articulations?

                ---> Yes !!! As you can of course define the size of this zone on the pad (and make it quite small) you can really have a kind of hihat bell (for the first time with a Roland hihat pad!)

                When ordering these VH-14D Positional Sensing SD3 project(s) for my DAW, can I choose L-R or (near) Bell zone feature only?
                ---> Sure!

                Will all these Positional Sensing Zones also work with the "Superior Drummer 3 - Hihat Engine FIX" (the Transition Artifact + Fast Stepping FIX) ?

                ---> YES, combining it will work properly! πŸ‘
                (even also with the Hihat Engine toggle (while playing)?) ---> YES

                ENJOY β€ΌπŸ™‚

                    Ableton Live 11Cymbal Choking FIX for nearly any e-drum module πŸ™‚πŸ‘‰

                    (other than shown here (LINK 1* + LINK 2**)) I've found a way to make Cymbal Choking available in Ableton Live 11 with anyRoland (or eDRUMin or ATV module (or even most Yamaha modules) β€ΌπŸ‘πŸ˜Š
                    (so not only the supported modules shown in LINK 1 ( = TD 30/50/27/... ) are supported with my new FIX but also modules like TD-17/11/9/1/15/25 !)

                    And of course it works with any 3rd-party drum sampler that supports Cymbal Choking (so not only "SD3" like shown in LINK 2)

                    Of course it works also with AL Sampler or Drumracks ... but that's not new.

                    And for users of Roland modules like TD 50/27/30/20/... (LINK 1) (-who of course can also use this FIX!-) there is an additional very cool aspect: You won't have to alter any module settings! - so there is no need to change "Gate Time" for each cymbal note (as mentioned with the Ableton Drummer FIX) and not generating long cymbal midi notes will also be better for recording midi drums
                    In addition with this FIX you will be able to choke super long ringing cymbal sounds after 8 seconds (this was the limit with the "GateTime" FIX shown in LINK 1).

                    The FIX is using the ingenious modular DAW "Plogue Bidule" as an additional tool (Bidule is super inexpensive and one of the most powerful audio software tools I know).

                    ENJOY😊

                      Video available showing the Roland "VH-14D" - Superior Drummer 3 INTEGRATION (L-R distinction + Hihat Bell) FIX πŸ™‚πŸ‘‰

                      This vid shows my Roland "VH-14D" - Superior Drummer 3 INTEGRATION(L-R distinction + Hihat Bell)FIX for e-drummers: Video LINK

                      I've recorded two takes - the second one ("Take 2") provides an extended dynamic range and I show each take with two different L - R pitch settings: an extreme one for demonstration and easy detection of L-R distinction - and then a more subtle and realistic one.

                      And of course you can adjust the pitch of every single open-closed stage/articulation after your preferences !

                      ...BTW, you can of course also use SD3 mic channels (and their levels) and/or SD3 audio effects like EQ or Transient Designer to achieve a slight difference in L-R sound (so it need not necessarily be the 'Pitch' that I've used for the video)

                      Take 1 - extreme L<->R pitch setting (min 00:28 - 06:35)
                      Take 2 - extreme L<->R pitch setting (min 06:37 - 12:51)

                      Take 1 - subtle + realistic L<->R pitch setting (min 12:57 - 19:04)
                      Take 2 - subtle + realistic L<->R pitch setting (min 19:06 - 25:20)

                      The SD3 hihat model: 14" Zildjian K Constantinople (Superior Drummer 3 Core library + default Preset (raw sounds without effects))

                      The new digital Roland hihat is really a game changer and brings up ingenious new trigger features along with SD3
                      Enjoy! πŸ˜Šβ€ΌοΈ

                            There are a few things that can be done in SD3 standalone, but basically yes, the fixes are based on DAW real time midi editing.
