  • Dual Play Mesh Heads. 8" 10" and 12"

2015-03-25 12.56.34.jpg 2015-03-25 12.56.53.jpg 2015-03-25 12.56.42.jpg I recently made shells for a repeat customer and he suprised me with a box of mesh heads as a tip, I used what I wanted for my drums but have extras. I wanted to offer them here if anyone needs a inexpensive alternative.

    I also have 3 new 12" Roland heads that I don't need.

These are limited but feel free to contact me and make a offer for what you need. Thanks, Tom

Pictures will be posted later, these feel thicker than the Roland but are a fine mesh and white in color. Feel is a little less like a trampoline but with good response. I like them alot but I don't need 40 heads.

The 3 Roland 12" heads I would like to get $30.00 a piece, still in bad and new or trade

The 8" Dual Ply mesh I would like $13.00, I have 6 of them

The 10" dual ply mesh I would like $17.00 I have 20 of them

the 12" Dual ply mesh I would like $19.00 I have 20 of them

If you need a video I can do a sound and bounce comparison. They are perfectly white and you cant see through them like other heads. These have a heavier mesh.

Thanks Tom. Those heads are shiny! I'll check my funds next week. If all goes well I'll need about 6 of them. It will be nice to have few white heads on hand.

These heads look very much like the drum-tec design series. If these are the same heads, I have to say that I also like them a lot. Good price, too!

I wish I knew where these are from, I didn't ask but I will. These feel great. I will do a quick you Tube video of the actual sound level this weekend. Maybe I can get more, I am interested in other sizes but I am not sure if my buddy has anymore. Tom

Nice to hear from you SD

These white heads made my DIY Ludwig e-snare look awesome! ..seems to ad a bit of sophistication to the appearance.

I put one on top and bottom - finally got rid of the clear Mylar head I had on the bottom.

here is a pic with the new head - I think I'll leave the rim rubber off - I really like the look - the feel is more springy than my DIY Black Mesh.
the sound is a softer thud with a very muffled snare buzz - my DIY Black Mesh are a harder thud sound with no two ply buzz.

I had to re-tighten this morning as the head felt like a pillow after sitting up under tension overnight.

My black head material has a plastic type coating over the strands of the weave.
these white heads do not have that coating. To the bare hand, my black ones feel plastic smooth, the white ones feel more like raw fiber - similar to the 'worn out' bald spot area in the center of my used black heads.

I have not yet tested trigger response with my TD-20 module.

Wayne, they look nice, It took me a few days to get the tension where i like it and then it stayed nicely. let me know how you like them after you play them for a bit.
