Looking to buy a highly functional, (many options), VERY portable, preferably modified e-kit, kit, solely for gigging, not for main how use, of which I already have and am currently happy with, (though I am mercurial and that could change anytime).
I more or less aware of what is small and on market and none of them fit needs. So preferably something modified or built from scratch is preferred.
Something like a Roland TD-4KP with mesh heads and the ability to have double bass, (modifying to bass pad), without using the hi hat pedal as the other "beater," (which IMO does not work well at all as a "double pedal"), instead a true double bass pedal capability, which is critical to me as I use double bass pedals in playing live extensively. Mesh heads also greatly preferred.
I do not want to break my kit down: (WAY too much time and work FOR ME), but can take easy to take off and put back on pieces in this extra mobile light easy set up/break down"gig kit."
(See below for what I have).
I do not consider any Roland V-drum tour kit easy to break down and set up, light, or easy in any way.
Prefer Roland greatly, though open to other ideas.Want to keep it very reasonably priced as cannot afford an expensive thrown around gig kit.
If you are a good do it your self-er, (i am NOT!), and have, or, can build something, have ideas, etc., lets talk, PLEASE. .
Thank you!
