Anyone using a drumsplitter with a TD-11? If so, for which triggers/pads? I tried splitting the AUX cable between an extra cymbal and an extra tom, but not much luck. Then I tried splitting tom 3, so then I have tom 3 and tom 4 split on the tom 3 cable, with the AUX going to the extra crash (adding a tom and crash here to the original kit). Is this the best way to use a drumsplitter?

I'm using a drumsplitter with my TD-11 - works great. I'm splitting the head/rim on Tom1, to add a fourth tom. Toms1&2 only have the head (both off tom1), three and four have both head and rim. I'm using the rims on 3&4 as percussion instruments. I read that splitting cymbals can be tricky.

In my original post I was talking about the drumsplitters.com ones, actually. Not really going to build my own at this point, but thanks for the link.Roland TD-11: PD-105 snare, PDX-100 toms (3); CY-13R ride; CY-12 crash (2); KD-9 kick; Iron Cobra HP900 kick pedal; VH-10 hi-hat; Iron Cobra HH605 hi-hat stand; Simmons DA200s monitor; Sony MDR-7520 and Audioquest Nightowl headphones; AD2; VEX Apex, Sync, Icons, Boost, Masters 1-2; Drum-Tec LA Studios, Real Acoustic, Alternate Rock Sound Editions
