  • Using drumsplitter with TD-11

Anyone using a drumsplitter with a TD-11? If so, for which triggers/pads? I tried splitting the AUX cable between an extra cymbal and an extra tom, but not much luck. Then I tried splitting tom 3, so then I have tom 3 and tom 4 split on the tom 3 cable, with the AUX going to the extra crash (adding a tom and crash here to the original kit). Is this the best way to use a drumsplitter?

I'm using a drumsplitter with my TD-11 - works great. I'm splitting the head/rim on Tom1, to add a fourth tom. Toms1&2 only have the head (both off tom1), three and four have both head and rim. I'm using the rims on 3&4 as percussion instruments. I read that splitting cymbals can be tricky.

I assume you are talking about the splitter here in the DIY sticky:

The normal splitters available in retail stores do not work.
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! ;)

In my original post I was talking about the drumsplitters.com ones, actually. Not really going to build my own at this point, but thanks for the link.
