  • Ridiculous things you've done in the name of music!

Since I came out of retirement, a bunch of pics and videos from back in the day have started to circulate. The latest one posted to FB made me wonder if I'm the only idiot who did something they thought was really cool in their youth, only to realize now you really looked like a buffoon!!!?!?!

I might be the only one willing to post such nonsense, lol. But what the heck, this is from back when I used to borrow my stage clothes from girlfriends. Man, I miss that 28" waist, lol. Reminds me of Steel Panther's "Danger Kitty" commercial..."They wore the finest women's clothing..."

Anyone have goofy pics from your glory days???

No good pics available currently... I'd have to find it and scan it. But when The Who was at their peak, I wanted to emulate Roger Daltrey circa his flowing curly locks days...

Not even close. My temporary perm I got from the local ladies salon gave me a less than flattering dork look.

I posted some pics from 1984 here...before I was able to grow my hair out (I was in the Army at the time!)

I'll see if I can find some more.

The topic of this thread....does that include simply buying V Drums?

lol, that pic where you are jumping in the water looking like you are trying to cover up to prevent a full nuttle, classic!

I'd love to hear some of your stuff, you seem to be more than semi-awesome!!!!

Thanks for posting the pics. I have one where I was sporting a Hall and Oats mustache I need to find, lol.

Probably cause of the noise your shoes made ripping off the floor??? Just wondered if I ever played there but I don't think so.

I hate it to bring it to you, Ken, but your photos from 1984 ARE NOT ridiculous! ...if this is your perception of 'ridiculous', I'm sorry to say you failed miserably!

Why not - I reckon 'poodle hair' must be the 'In' thing to have in 1984, but you don't *have to* mention you were a hard rocker to anyone.

          Photos don't transport sound (..yet)
