  • Bill Bruford - Beelzebub (play along included, have fun!!)

Hi there fellow drummers! Hopefully I'm posting this in the correct section. Here's a play along for one of Mr. Bruford greatest classics, Beelzebub, with its iconic 9/8 groove. I'm also a keyboard player and recently did a rendition of this song with my friends and some special guests, but no real drums were recorded, it was done by the guitar player's fingers + an Akai MPD controller (using Toontrack Superior Vintage kit). Now you may all take a shot at those crazy drum parts. If you record youself playing it, please say hi on FB and let me know, I'd love to watch!

    Cheers and enjoy your studies

    Zolhof,

I must say... this is absolutely brilliant! By chance, are you willing to share your charts for Beelzebub? The charts would be really helpful for understanding the various forms and building a drum part. Thanks for posting this. :-)
