  • Pintech Wins a Best in Show Award at NAMM -

    Hey All!

I wanted to let you all know that we won a Best in Show award at NAMM this year, and couldn't be more happy. It is truly an honor to win a Best in Show award, and couldn't believe that we were chosen!

The category we ended up being chosen for was "Company to Watch", and is awarded to companies that are deemed to be trendsetting and innovative. The things they focused on the most was our A2E conversion kits, and our overall attention to quality and durability in our products.

Without sounding too "spammy", I would like to invite everyone to check us out when you need something. We are American made, and do whatever we can to support our customers (And other company's customers) whenever we can. We've made some pretty big changes with some of our products lately, and have been focusing on not only making products that are build to withstand years of drumming, but also adding some cool features that no one else does. And the majority of our products are all built to be universal -

On top of all of that, we are in the middle of some pretty exciting R&D projects that I think will be big hits within the e-drumming community.

I just wanted to thank all of you for your continued support with Pintech. It means a lot to us, and we appreciate all of the kind words and advice you guys give in regards to our products. I want to invite all of you to give us a call if you need any help with DIY projects, or general questions. We have people that have been here for many years, and we've seen it all. Give us a call and test our knowledge. If we don't know something, we will most likely know someone who does!

    Thanks again!
    Ryan @ Pintech

Thanks, Ryan, but please don't tease us. Can you tell us in a general sense what type of products your working on? New kits? I have a kit that I bought from Pintech back (around 2001?) It think it was known as your "Visuals" custom line and was made with real wood shells, choices of lugs, wrap, etc. and it was far less expensive per drum than Roland at the time. I've since re-wrapped it and upgraded the triggers, etc. but the build quality was so good, I'm sure it will last another 20 years. It was like buying from Diamond Drums today. If you keep the price right (you guys manage to do that) I think you'd do well today with another line like this given all the VST and 2Box users out there.
Pearl Mimic Pro, eDRUMin 10, ATV aDrums, DIY Conversion kit, Roland Handsonic HPD-20, EFNOTE 5 Module (for hi hats, SD3, Porter & Davies Throne

        Congratulations, Ryan!
You guys converted a Silver Sparkle Pearl Export kit for me back in 2005 (that you even featured on your web site for a time!) and it's still going strong today, no problems at all. I can't wait to see your new products!

I can tell you that we ARE working on new kits. We are looking at our whole line of kits, and will be changing some things around. We are also working on some cool new triggers, cymbals, and more! We will always focus on making the most durable products at the lowest price possible. Being American made has also been a huge focal point for us. We will be sure to let you all know as soon as we have more information. You should also share a picture of your kit on our facebook! I'd love to see it!

That is awesome! Do me a favor and share it on our facebook page! I would love to show customers the kit. We get people that ask us "How long should I expect my converted kit to last?" - And although that is kind of a loaded question because of all of the variables, I always try to tell people that they can last a really long time if taken care of properly. The best part is that everything we make is repairable by the drummer. You don't have to send anything in, and be charged a labor fee. We will always fix stuff or you if you don't want to deal with it, but most everything we make is very simple to fix

It's like Adam Sandler in "Wedding Singer" when he tries to get a job at a bank and he's asked what kind of banking experience he has. He tells the manager during the job interview, "I use money, I like it, I have a little, I keep it in a jar. I'd like to add more to that jar, that's where you come in." I feel the same way with Pintech. I use Pintech, I like it, I have a little, I keep them on my e kit. I'd like to add more to that kit. That's where GAS comes in.

                Way to go Pintech!

                K ;-)
