that's easy.. your country has pawn shops ..right ?
pawn it.. to 'pay for lawyer' ..
you're not legally 'getting rid' of anything..
sure you pay some interest.. but it's better than
    loosing it..
when the storm is gone.. pick it up again..

        Hey Guys,

I'm sorry, but my mom (who is in her 70s) fell and twisted her ankle, so I've been over there helping her with some things, and she doesn't have a computer.

Thanks for all the replies, I think I've got what I need, now I just have to get through this divorce process. I WILL let you guys know the outcome of this whole thing when I can.

I think this thread represents what has become the biggest danger of this forum - people offering opinions about topics on which they have absolutely no knowledge - and offering them as "fact". I pity Royce if he followed 90% of the "advice" offered here.
For the sake of this forum's good reputation, I would urge would-be contributors to think twice before posting. If you don't KNOW for a fact, then it's best to sit back and wait for someone who does to post.
There's a difference between "it looks nice in blue" and "they only make it in blue". Sure, express "opinions" about what you like or dislike, but don't make categorical claims about facts when you're not 100% sure.

Sorry, I thought this was legit.- For some reason, this all starts to become a wee bit 'funny sounding' to me...

AllanJohn...what "facts" are folks offering that will lead him astray? Most were suggestions (like mine, albeit with dramatics included).

            K ;-)

yes.. it's all 'options' .. and not unbiased.. which is logical on a drumforum..
              (i completed my original post..)
you can always ask 'what if' to your lawyer.. i divorced after 15 yrs, and i was the provider..
i know how that goes.. good luck, royce..

Besides advising him to lie, cheat and commit purgery?
