Hi everybody, these guys will be playing next Friday (the 13th) at the House of Blues in Orlando, FL. I will be there and I highly recommend you check them out if you live in the central FL area. Billy Martin is an incredible drummer and the the only way to describe the band is "unique". They play a variety of styles ranging from soft jazz to hip-hop and funk, all instrumental.
    Roland TD-20 v1.08, various v-drums and v-cymbals, Yamaha KP65's, Axis pedals, Gibraltar hardware, Mackie 1202/SRM450 (pre-china)

I've been going to their shows for about 8 or 9 years now... caught my first show in '93 at the Knitting Factory in NYC

I had the great pleasure of meeting Billy Martin in my senior year of music school (he's a fellow Berklee alumnus). He uses a very tribal and organic sound on MMW's albums but he can SWING like a mofo too. He has tons of technique and chops but he tastefully keeps it all in line on their albums.
Jazz nerd with old school Gretch kit and dirty Zildjian K's all around. Hart Pro 5.3 kit with TD-8 in my apartment for practicing without disturbing my annoying neighbors.
